Summary

Manpower is seeking to recruit a Core Networks Engineer to join our client team and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation, stability, and performance of the company's core network.

• Design, implementation, and maintenance of core network infrastructure, primarily focused on Cisco technologies.
• Management and optimisation of routing protocols for efficient traffic flow within company's network and across the internet.
• Configuration, troubleshooting, and optimisation of optical networks for high-speed data transmission.
• Overseeing transit and international connectivity to ensure reliable and cost-effective internet access for the company's customers.
• Working closely with other engineering teams to identify and resolve network issues.
• Proactively monitoring network performance and taking preventative measures to ensure optimal uptime and performance.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in core networking and routing.

Requirements :

• For experienced candidates: Proven experience as a Core Network Engineer or similar role within an ISP or data centre environment.
• For recent graduates: A degree in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) with a focus on networking, or a related field. A strong foundation in networking concepts and a willingness to learn are essential.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• While not mandatory, a demonstrable interest in the field through certifications like CCNA is desirable.
